The Logistics Business Unit has over 1000 employees and supports all branches of the Department of Defense. We provide our customers a wide range of services including logistics planning, acquisition management and support, third-party logistics, and logistics IT applications. Our services are provided at customer sites and company sites throughout the United States as well as Southeast and Southwest Asia and we help our clients acquire new weapon systems and information technology capabilities to improve and sustain our nation's defense.

Job Description:
Enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. May require an associate''s degree or equivalent with 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field''s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. May report to an executive or a manager.
INVENTORY CONTROL AND SHELF LIFE MANAGER. The Inventory Control and Shelf Life Manager shall be responsible for the overall management of all Government Furnished Property/Material, all shelf life material, and ensure Contractor compliance with contract requirements. The Inventory Control/Shelf Life Manager shall be on site during the normal working hours.
Minimum/General
Experience: Eight (8) years' experience in any combination of inventory or shelf life planning or control, which must demonstrate experience and ability in inventory and shelf life management, Quality Control, and Automated Data Processing (ADP).
Three (3) years' experience supervising at least 10 people doing similar or related type work on similar contracts, or on a project of comparable scope and magnitude.
